IIST -Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a Government funded institution which offers both UG and PG programs which are relevant in the field of Space Science, Technology and other applications. The admission possibilities for students joining IIST 2021 are for varied streams along with their specializations. IIST admissions will be held by the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). This was established in the year 2007 by ISRO under the head of space department. There will be no individual entrance examination conducted by the University, but the admissions will be based on the result of National level entrance exams such as JEE Advanced, JEE Main, JEST, UGC NET and GATE etc.

Eligibility criteria
General Eligibility
The applicants should be citizens of India. They must have native residence certificate of the resided state and should justify their local status as specified by the Government of India. At the time of reporting for admission process in the University, students must submit their Birth certificate and medical fitness certificate which is used to verify their age criteria and physical capability
Criteria for UG Course
Students must be under the age of 21 to apply for UG admissions and must have passed 10th and 12th board exams from any recognized institute with a qualifying aggregate of 75% (65%for SC/ ST category). The students must have compulsory subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics. Along with that students must have JEE Advanced 2021 merit card with minimum qualifying marks.
Criteria for PG Course
The maximum age limit for students is 32 years and few relaxations will be given for reserved category applicants. The Candidates must have completed their UG degree B.Tech/ B.E. from any recognized University with qualifying examination by securing 60% (55% for reserved category candidates) aggregate. Some of the qualifying exams are GATE, UGC NET/ JEST.
